If you're taking liberties with your adaptation of Dune and you've cast two prime cuts of manmeat on enemy sides...and you don't add a scene where you smash those boys together like action figures at a 7-year-old's birthday party? A crime.

20 years ago today, Barbie in the Nutcracker was released! The first Barbie Movie ever and still one of the best Nutcracker adaptations out there. Who'd have guessed it would spawn 38 more movies in a franchise still much loved by dedicated fans? 🐀

Gotta give praise for Manga artist Hiroyuki for making a best manga series that turn into anime adaptation which all share art style and making a funny series from Mangaka san and Assistant, Aho girl to Girlfriend, Girlfriend. I can tell it's the same author who makes comedy. XD

So now that Dune (2021) has put to bed the memory of the flop that was the Lynch adaptation, do you think that other literary film adaption flops could receive the same treatment?

For all their problems I still enjoy these films, I’m never bored by them as I am other safe bets.

Designed superhero logos for the main four, as part of that AU! I'd imagine the inevitable comic book adaptations (in universe) would use 'em :P

ef a fairy tale of the two is yet another VN I haven't read because I watched the anime adaptation. I did like its unique storytelling, though I believe the VN did not switch between couples like the anime did. Story was good but not really interested in reading it in VN form now
