It's coming along quite nicely. I did a few adjustments to that light test layer I showed yesterday & played with the blending mode. I plan to pull the colors from this & shade accordingly.

2. Biomes according to that vegetation map in Wikimedia Commons
3. True color (Earth-based)
4. True-ish color (best guess adjustment with sources from r/worldbuilding)
