First and foremost: Samus' suit is still the Fusion Suit, but it started regenerating back to its original Fully Powered Suit form, hence the new shoulder pads, chest plating, lights, and disappearance of a lot of organic parts.

My first time playing AM2R and I was blown away. This game is a love letter to the franchise and has its own unique identity amongst the original game and Samus Returns. This game looks and feels so fresh, yet still retains the heart of a classic Metroid game.

I don't know if I can find an example of the audio... but as I was playing Samus Returns, I realized that this specific enemy makes the same exact sound as the countdown timer in Jackbox's Tee K.O.!
