2016 vs 2022
#SkillNotTalent
Everyone's artistic journey is different & rarely is it linear, but improvement does take work. These are dated 2010, 2014, 2018, & 2022. I spent high school learning traditional and despite my skill had to start over with digital. Keep working, keep improving!
#SkillNotTalent
I only wish I could see where I'd be now if I'd never stopped drawing in my teens #SkillNotTalent
2018 - 2022
#SkillNotTalent
Art takes time to develop, so dont give up!
(2018->2022)
#SkillNotTalent
We all gotta start somewhere, and we all learn at our own pace 💕

2018-2022
art takes time, you just gotta perservere and stay motivated!
2012 vs 2021
9 years of tears and frustration, a lot of wondering if I would ever learn how to do this (still learning and with a lot to learn) studying and practicing. Trying to get the most out of every artist I met, asking for feedback and advice. Worth it!
#SkillNotTalent
#SkillNotTalent? It should be a balance of skill and talent. :P
Anyway, here's pieces from 2009 (left) and 2022 (right).
2012 VS 2022
14 yr old me thought they were hot shit for being able to draw on a mouse and keyboard, I kinda was but don’t tell them that #SkillNotTalent
#skillnottalent 2014 -> 2022
drew very few humanoids until about 2018, and it took me a long time to get more comfortable drawing them. practice makes perfect
2002 - 2022 #SkillNotTalent but I really like to think all of us have a mixture of both? Like it takes a little bit of talent to master skills and there's skill needed in knowing where you can make the most out of your talent ig. Also yes I have been drawing for 20~ years
2017 vs 2022
i’m nowhere near perfect,, there will always be room for improvement. but i’m happy with my journey so far :)
