- maverick the mole, an 18-year old who's shy and wary. he has eyes, but they're not visible due to how small they are (second drawing is his old ref; him and the other animals will be getting new ones soon)

I see folks rolling out all the usual suspects for your X-Men, your Supermen, your Batfolk, and hey, that's fine — but if you want to hang with me you gotta be down with George Broderick Jr's COURAGEOUS MAN (and Spunky, the Effervescent Prepubescent 💥)

(Damnit, I labeled the file/picture with SOPHIE as her name, confusing her with another OC + I forgot her wings!) Here’s my take on the adorable Lulu. Thought I’d give her a flouncy white robe and longer, more luxurious hair as befitting an angel, lol! Hope you enjoy, Ericka!👍🏾 https://t.co/jHzb9NENxU

I find it reassuring that Frederick Stuart Church had the same trouble drawing hands like everybody else. And that eventually he still ended up with something this gorgeous.

Mermaid Riding a Seahorse. 2 versions by Frederick Stuart Church (1842–1924) . Church was an American illustrator. He spent many months sketching in Central Park Zoo, NYC - "observing seahorses in an aquarium", so as "to effectively capture the character of each creature".
