#StartToFinish almost all of my drawings start messy like this so I can put down the basic gesture i have in my head as fast as i can before i forget it 😅 its funny looking back at the initial sketch lol
#StartToFinish seems like a cool tag! i usually stay pretty close to my original sketch when it comes to my drawings. which is why i sometimes end up with as many as 3 just to hone in on what i want to draw.

✏️My sketching brush and liner brush are the same brush.. opacity makes such a difference.

sometimes i'll rough out a bunch of different pieces all over a page, and then frankenstein them together digitally (i think there's more thumbnails to this one but i can't find them lol..) #StartToFinish
I'm going to try and reconnect with an art community, it's been so long and I miss it so much. so i noticed this trend, and as it's all i have at the moment here's my #StartToFinish

Sketch -> Finish
Usually my sketches just remain the same all the way through unless if I notice something that needs fixing. Background for me for personal stuff are 100% unplanned lol
...And sometimes so much time passes between #starttofinish that the finished work bears almost no resemblence to the initial idea!
Cover illustrations also stick pretty closely to the original sketch, because that's what the client - in this case, @GraceDraven chooses (after receiving several options). I also tend to do the typography so I factor that into my sketches.

Sometimes I have a really clear vision (which usually involves a colour palette) so I can immediately take reference photos and sketch out exactly what I'm planning.
