I'm really excited about this pin and wanted to share a bit about the inspiration that went into its design.
* Friendly plug that if you want it for urself, as a gift (should arrive b4 graduation!), or to pledge $1 to wish me hbd 🎉 the link is https://t.co/yKEmzZLDpU! #sciart

I'm terrified that we're causing a serious, if veiled, environmental collapse for the past few decades. But I admit I'm fascinated by the concept of a natural apocalypse and mass extinctions. Here's my take on some of them from our past #sciart #SciArtTweetstorm
Day 5 of #SciArt #Tweetstorm is a cartoon teaser by a new artist on our team, Jacinta (@Oil_Bushido). Leonardo da Vinci, famously known as a painter, produced remarkable drawings of human anatomy and the brain! New cartoon posted next week #scicomm #neuroscience #neuroart
Imaging is making it easier to see the beauty in anatomy and #sciart, whether its our carpal tunnel (stippling joke!), a xiphisternal flare of a pangolin tongue or the shadowy underpinnings of flight. Sometimes I think its making us lazier, letting machines draw for us.

Day 5 of #SciArt Tweet Storm. Working in Scientific Illustration means getting it right, preserving accuracy. My thoughts on the tyrannosaur/nanotyrannus discussion are entirely irrelevant when my job is to accurately record what is before me. It's an odd but real sense of peace.
Another one for #sciart #tweetstorm
This cool dude is a giant #anteater also called ant bears (Myrmecophaga tridactyla). They live in South/Central America and I'm sure you can guess what they eat 😎

For day 5 of the #SciArt Tweet Storm here is an illustration I did for my in-prep book which was also shown during last year #paleoart exhibit “Picturing the Past”. It is a group of Dimorphodon, one of my favorite pterosaurs. Also because today is #PterosaurPtuesday
I've seen a lot of #SciArt tweets going around so I figured I'd throw in some of my favorite vectors.
Aight let's get in on this #SciArtTweetstorm business. Here's just a handful of old dead animals I've drawn - Flexomornis, Plesiosaurus, Anomalocaris, and Zygodactylus! #paleoart
