I'm really disappointed how wit has robbed us. Mikasa was supposed to be a strong, independent woman, yet they made Mikasa obsessed and dependent on Eren. They also made Eren and Mikasa relationship extremely aggressive in the anime, making it somewhat a bit toxic.
