My favorite Zoid (and the reason for my online nickname) Lord Gale. Decided to go with just the torso up for this one as finding good references for him is rather difficult. Will be doing a more stylized full body picture of him in the near future.

Ah yes, DoomRangerEX explained it there (thanks!)- named after blackbody radiation, and also that's not corset but actually her torso- so there is a literal aspect to it too.

I wanted to make an armor design so I did something with Jerome, they like to be able to move easily so it really only consists of a chest plate, shoulder guard and thigh guards. Their torso is protected with chainmail but covered with some clothe
