Catching up on Jordie Bellaire's DETECTIVE COMICS and it's terrific. A classic murder mystery but done in a fresh, modern way with urgency and style. the ROBIN story from and is great too - just top notch comics.

It seems that the early 1980s were the pivotal time for DC horror comics. "The Unexpected" absorbed "The Witching Hour", "The House of Secrets", and "Doorway to Nightmare" in 1979 and continued on until 1982. "Weird War Tales" and "The House of Mystery" both ended in 1983.
