I don't know how the conversation for this piece went, but I'd assume the customer asked for a character to hold the mask in this way, which is why it was drawn like this? simplest explanations make more sense. But is there anything wrong with the piece matching the order?

Explanation: For a long time Hanakas quirk was more theme-driven & lacked substance. I basically said that her emotions regulate her strength but it was really hard to explain how she controls it & what triggers her Quirk to power-up

It was all a bit wishy-washy & hard to convey
