My own character, Cat the eladrin barbarian, is a total sweetheart who cooks for her party and has a crush on the local enchanter, who upgraded her greataxe for her.

One of the NPCs for my D&D campaign: Gilda, a goblin whose aptitude for magical items is unrivaled...so long as you keep her stocked up.
She'll light up your stage show real good, too, for when your fireworks show needs some pizzazz.
