A lot of people forget to use contrast in their art.
Use it pleaaaase. It'll make your work look 200% more interesting. Dark/light, different hues (based on lighting) and soft/sharp edges are a few things you could use to make your art stand out more.

Here the topless version of Gehban. People have asked me why I don't draw subjectively symmetrical anatomy. Ummm... I don't like to. I see anything wrong with it, I just don't do it often. I just think characters with uneven proportions I'm more interesting.
