Neon. A re-paint of an older piece from 2015 which used purple as a base colour.

I decided to just go wild with the colours in contrast to the de-saturated palette of my older work.

My painterly work usually leans super hard on value. I'm pretty happy to pick vibrant, saturated colors when I make inked work, but my painted stuff is usually too conservative. So this was a good exercise for me.

Skin practice using a neutral, desaturated tone as a base. I'd say it's a success.
