While the series is nominally produced by Nippon Animation, afaik no ep was actually animated by Nippon: the entire show is outsourced to other studios such as Deen, IG, Artland, Jec.E, Anime R, Mu etc. It also has no chief AD, so designs and artstyles differ radically throughout

I’m using and I’m using groups to add colors to the frames. But when I group my colors & lines, it causes everything in the group to fade??!!?! And it’s only doing it with some groups, and not others (last pic). HELP!

Sonic Adventure 2 really blew me away. It was such a significant step up in animation, detail, everything. And it ran at twice the frame rate as SA1. It solidified in my mind that Sonic Adventure wasn't a very good looking game for its time, if the improvement was THIS dramatic.

Yeah, I know, this is about a non-stiff running animation, which...even Sonic kinda does, with no bobbing once over a certain speed, but I can't stress enough how many games have human characters that never subtly rotate their head. Even I'm guilty of this lazy spritework!

uh I adapted a vinessa drawing for live2d, there are some funky-looking parts but I kinda like how she turned out

for the animation, a big part was automated, had to change some parameters though

it's like she's becoming a bit more real aaaaaaaaaaaaamyheart
