@sendthetweet Also! If you’re getting muscular pain in the lower back, it’s often the result of tightness in the muscles and ligaments at the front of the leg- so this stretch (curling your pelvis until you feel the stretch at the front of the thigh!) Very often helps alleviate back pain :)

In past Street Fighter games every single character, when blocking, they feel like they're really tightening up. "Turtling" is a great term for it! By contrast, parrying feels loose and fluid. Now look at Jamie. His blocks look like parries!
I do have one concern about these custom low block animations though, and specifically how Jamie's is implemented. In past games, there was a VERY deliberate differentiation between blocking (left, very tight) and parrying (right, very loose).
This new approach allows low blocking characters to feel less tight. Jamie feels light on his feet even when blocking low. Very different from past Street Fighter games! (even Chun Li's unusual block from SF3 feels much tighter and more defensive than Jamie's)
