Hallyu couple drawing process.

I preplanned this on a piece of paper, sketching out the clothes and gestures. Made some studies of folds and Korean designs. Lots of trial and error. Forgot what Eve looked like so reffed a bit in the middle.

The meeting of Kazui and Ichika is basically if Renji and Orihime were in the Death and the Strawberry situation. Kazui has an innocent, curious nature like Orihime. Ichika runs of on herself, confidently introducing herself, a cocky gesture in her pose, like Renji.

Start with gesture drawing using a huge brush. From there do a sketch. It’s all about the flow of your art and curves vs straights (his back is curved while his front has lots more detail). This is maybe more a tip for character design but gesture drawing is always good
