I draw (almost) every demigod with eye shine lol. Also use of subtle shape language for characters (eg. diamonds/triangles for Alex, hearts for Piper, circles/ovals for Samirah, squares for Magnus)

Free form Toys were the most appealing to me because they had more variance of shapes when they aren't constrained by the grid layout

Also, kids never ever leave things in a nice grid after playing with them. This looks like a Toy after a kid has played with it.
