I've held off on drawing Stolas for a while because their hair was always a bit annoying to figure out in perspective and only really looked good from one angle, so for christmas I gave them a headband and I think it worked wonders,,, might have to make an updated ref sheet asap~

These are also mons that I believe came from reworked protos. however the connections here are much more loose. I’ve also seen people suggest other/more designs that also could have been used but I think there’s barley a connection(like popplio & Cruz🙅🏼‍♂️🙈)

Perhaps I'm imagining it, but looking at Moto Hagio episode in Manben, I can't help but notice how some close-up frames in Saint Seiya worked by Shingo Araki and Michi Himeno have something of Hagio's influence. Especially in how those very beautiful eyelashes were depicted.
