Also Bass.EXE is the only character from MegaMan Battle Network that breaks a design rule they had in place where no character could have any cloth on them. According to Yuji Ishihara this is cause he wanted to give him the trademark cape he has.

On the same note, the reason why Bass.EXE is so powerful in the games is because he was equipped with a program to assimilate the abilities of viruses and other Navis that have been deleted. he has been accumulating and storing their power over time.

Bass.EXE has a wildly different story in the games than he has in the anime.

In the games, Bass was created by Dr. Cossak as part of a project to develop NetNavis who are independent of an operator, later he was blamed for an incident and thought to be deleted but he survived.
