Imo was the perferct movie to introduce and show how powerful he is instead of selfish people renouncing their wishes (if its even possible). But as always they ruined a good blockbuster movie at the ending

The real reason they do this, is that when it's darker, you don't notice how bad the special effects are. That's why every Blockbuster ends with the character fighting a giant gray monster. It's why Vision is that color too. It blends the real life and CGI easier.
