The Manunggul Jar is a secondary burial jar found in the Manunggul cave of the Tabon Caves in Palawan, Philippines. The two figures at the top handle of its cover represent the journey of the soul to the afterlife.

I just learned that those triangle forehead coverings on Japanese ghosts are called "Hitaikakushi" (額隠)
They were used as burial attire in the Heian period
