Also, just because l, here's a bunch of WIP progress shots. I worked out the lineart in CSP, printed it out, and used my living room window as a lightbox 🤣 After that, I painted the dang thing with watercolours, inks, gouache, and colour pencils

I’m not 100% percent happy with it... but 90%. And it’s the first thing I colored using CSP, so I know I still have to learn a few things while using the program and figure out how some of the brushes work...
So... Virgil and Sam... my current OC x canon ship. ♥

More fictional soldiery, not-Greek Phalangite infantry. Boeotian pattern helmet. Nylothorax is basically a linothorax using bal.nylon. There's only one pic of the EPK I can find, so a lot's guesswork. Left done w/CSP, right w/PS a few yrs back. Osprey stuff for posing ref.
