Recent commission for Elvy! She has vitiligo and deadly triple negative breast cancer. She has survived with this terminal cancer for just over a year, which is a miracle. My aunt commissioned me to paint Elvy as a strong elf centaur to honor her spirit while she is still alive.

I wanted to use exactly Qinni’s colors to draw my remembrance galaxy for her (and I failed…).
I’ve been following her for years, but found out about the 3+ surgeries just when she told us of her cancer.

Listening to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata while wrapping up issue 3. This is literally the only comic book I’ve written (and I know I’m over 500 books at this point but it’s higher than that now) that made me cry. I’ve had family and friends stricken with cancer. It sucks.

Qing Han () has lost her battle against cancer. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 late Dec. Doctors said she had a 1-1.5yrs left...

She was as vibrant as the pieces she created. She truly had a passion for what she did & adored interacting with others.

This hurts.

Qinni was an artist I only come across a few months ago when I found out that she was fighting cancer. Since finding her I learned other things too, like she was a survivor of OHS like myself and she kept going and inspired me too.

She was a beautiful soul
