One of things I do like abou it is the large cast of distinct characters. Something I enjoy in a lot of other series as well, and no matter how dumb some of them may be I come out of whatever titles liking more then a few of them.

Toriyama did nothing wrong. It's funny how the "representation" crowd acts as though fiction must mirror real life but then praises character designs with little distinction between types of people that are ultimately less accurate to reality.
