Junichi Hayama's first AD appearance on DM. Not the most detailed supervisor on the series but there's a certain charm about he's art. Simple shading, basic shapes for clothing creases and little to no skin or hair highlights.

This flower has petals that aren’t seamlessly connected to each other. Because I still want them visually connected I cover all the front petals with one red, leaving out the highlights. Not painted them on, like you do with gouache or acrylics etc. /Left it out. /

EXAMPLES OF THE NEW STYLE WITH THE VIBRANT FLATS AND HATCHING and VERY MINIMAL SHADING/HIGHLIGHTS. Hatching takes arguably just as much time as painting or celshading, hence why I display it as my most expensive item when color is involved. NEXT TWEET.
