I wish Sega and Sonic Team could create more backstories, origins, and history of the Ifrit (from Sonic Rivals 2, Sonic the Hedgehog series).

However it will never happen. And Sonic, his friends, and anyone else still don't care. Because they think that creature is pure evil.

I toyed with a concept like this last yr when thinking about WoL summoning Ifrit akin to Ryne summoning Shiva 🤔 Confidence in the future falling into despair of the past. Maybe just repackage it into a more hopeful form... which would also be some kind of tank/protective figure
