1/ For context, I didn't go to art school. Way too expensive, though in hindsight, I probably should've. In high school, I was probably one of three people I knew who drew anime characters. Middle of nowhere in Georgia, early 2000s. Not a badge of honor, I was just ignorant.
People really ignorantly boil down complex, multi-faceted characters to a single base trait, ignore anything else, and then go on to complain that modern FE characters are one-note or lack depth.
Some characters are one-note. MANY which people claim are one-note, are not.
