for pieces i really want smooth linework in! or i need to draw heavy (which is essentially pressing really hard against your drawing surface. not good for tablets! 😭)

last but not least, the finer work.. my way of approaching finer details like lighting and shading changes a -

i kind of wrapped up lining in with coloring, but essentially after i’m content with the more refined sketch is when i start working. my hands are very shaky and its hard for me to keep consistent lines, thats why my linework isnt that.. smooth. i have to use high stabilizers -

It depends. I find I think best with a pencil in my hand but I have a fair amount of muscle memory built up with the Intuos. I have the best digital linework results with a medium neutral tone set to multiply so I can build it up but I keep trying new things.

Lucifer Shiki. Tried drawing the linework on top and then putting color on the bottom row instead of filling in everything. Please tell me if you notice any differences. I really wanted to stick with a white primary, but maybe I should’ve went with the usual.
