She looks like the animal mascot protag of a PS1/PS2 era platformer #kfp
Thank you all for the wonderful Fluffy Friday! We made more progress in Super Neptunia RPG, and then we moved on to a little bit of Ember Kaboom! It was a Mario-like platformer, and I enjoyed the little bit I got to play!
We raided @AyaUsagiEN!
A CATFIEND'S IMPENDING RELAPSE is a platformer about a nonbinary alien/demon cat struggling to maintain their sobriety. By @beetlestench, @Camberdraws

I think this makes it clear which is my favorite saga in terms of platformers.
Some fan art of the two main characters from Jigsaw, an in development indie 3D platformer. Fan and Flute
Happy to be getting back to art properly.

@IzzzyzzzArt If ur in the mood for platformers, I always and forever will recommend these 3 games. They're all on Steam for under £15 each (roughly $18) and run on nearly anything. I love them all to death and can recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat
this isnt from my current mario redesign project (thats coming maybe soon I think its gonna be real cool) its an older idea for a combat based platformer. I still like some of the ideas but the style just wasnt interesting enough visually for me to keep working on it
Pixelart gameart grind tonight! Platformer & Beat'em up background works! Come on by and create with us!

3D platformers aren't my specialty, but I need to know what Super Mario 64 is like. Starting-up stream in 5 minutes.

Fav of 2014 - Shovel Knight
The first game I ever helped support on kickstarter and I don't regret it one bit.
A great love letter to classic platformer games and a game that easily stands on it's own strengths. Plus the OST for Shovel Knight is just a great bop
2017: an EVEN MORE stacked year and as much as I think BOTW is a perfect game (which it is), A Hat in Time just has so much charm and while Celeste is the pinnacle of 2D platformers, this is the pinnacle of 3D platformers for me. It made MARIO look boring to me!
Seiklus (2003) - THE classic freeware platformer explore-em-up. Predecessor to Knytt and countless others. No fighting, just poking around a beautiful delightful expansive world. https://t.co/rdrLQjIWiP
2018, another immediate and easy answer
Celeste
Always and forever, Celeste. This platformer made me think about my depression AND my gender in ways no media ever has before.
I'll very likely get a Madeline/Badeline tattoo at some point.
2020: Super Crush KO - Switch
@vertexpop
A fun and colorful little action platformer. Not every game needs to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes a few nice mechanics, swift movement, and a polished art style are plenty. Love the Smash Bros style controls here especially.
2014 - Shovel Knight.
2D NES style platformer that does a excellent job at being fun and charming. highly recommend for anyone tbh.
2014 - Freedom Planet
I remember being really excited for this game! There wasn't too much this year that stood out aside from this for me - it's not be perfect but it really captured the heart of Genesis / Saturn era platformers and that was hard not to fall in love with
