to make the effect of Steve holding his current item in his hand, i had to define the item's position in EVERY frame of EVERY animation. (to sync up with his hand)

frames can also have modifiers such as flipping/rotating the item, or drawing it behind / infront

I wonder if it's possible to create a "pseudo alt" character, where different alts result in the character looking like having different clothes, both sprites here are colored in a way that one alt looks like wearing a shirt and shoes and the other not
