Why doesn´t anyone ever talk about glyptosaurs, those omnivorous, armored, Gila monster lookalikes? Some, like Helodermoides, reached up to 70 cm long, and they may have capable of autotomy as a defense mechanism... but maybe only once as their tail seemingly didn´t grow back?
