That's pretty crazy how long Toonami has run. It played a big part of how I got into anime. Me and my friends were always eager to catch the next episode of DragonBall Z and Gundam Wing after we got out of school back in the day. Such good times😊.

Toonami premiered 25 years ago today! For many (myself included) Toonami was their Intro into anime. I never did become a big fanatic of anime, but many of my favorite shows came from this block including Dragon Ball/Z/GT, Naruto, and Reboot. I still remember when Moltar hosted!

I have a lot of Nostalgia for Toonami's return era in 2012. I was already watching AS every week for Bleach, Durarara and FMAB but man, when that April Fool's night hit AND THEN we got an official confirmation of it's return. What a time.
