I just discovered Bayonetta Nonstop Climax Edition, a special edition of both games, that comes with an alternate cover for Bayo1 where she's dressed in her original outfit but in the pose from 2. I can't find an actual render of this anywhere. It looks so cool!

It's also far from some extreme redesign, her design would hardly change & most would barely even notice it akin to Corrin & Bayo's barely being noticeable.
2B would probably look similar to this in Smash, using what we saw with the small edits to both Pyra & Bayo as inspiration.

Morrigan would be my first pick for a Darkstalkers rep, but we'd likely see an edit to her costume for Smash similar to Bayo, Pyra, and Mythra. Or Lilith because she has less to cover up in the first place. Or they just sidestep the issue entirely and do Demitri or something.
