Don't know if I'll still to this coloring way but... I dont hate it. That's a start

doing some shade/light gray scale just to see how i want things... and then put some orange mask at it... and a layer with indirect light colors... and other with cream light... and then this!
really didnt expect but i think its... good??🤔looks charming

even though their dessign is very simple i find them very endearing, i like how pretty much most unopened world residents look like they were drawn by a child.
Also since their head is an eye, I wonder if there are variants in different colors...
