Growing up I suffered from some sort of undiagnosed anxiety disorder and experienced what I now know to be depersonalization/derealization disorder. Although I'm much better now, I do think it left a major impact on the person I grew into.

Some sources wouldn't classify this as horror but it's one of the few pieces of media I can say genuinely terrified me. Loss of sense of identity and derealization are some of my worst fears and their portrayal doesn't make you feel like just a spectator.
