Learning more about Roy Lichtenstein and came across this beauty, "Aspen Winter Jazz Poster (1967)." Sketch and final!😍
Mrs. Lichtenstein wasn't always such a fox; What do you think happened to bring her out of her shell (and her clothes) this year?
Phyllis Sloane (1921-2009) was raised in Cleveland Heights and studied art at Carnegie Mellon alongside Roy Lichtenstein. She returned to Cleveland after college and developed her Pop Art-influenced figurative style, both as a painter and printmaker.
My attempt to imitate Roy Lichtenstein’s style for illustration assignment 😪

Roy Lichtenstein is best known for using the visual languages of comic strips and advertising in his images, which was coined “Pop Art” when it made its debut in the early 1960s. https://t.co/VvSmEtyk0a
I love how DP used colors for the DiU anime. It combined with the smooth lines makes me think if Roy Lichtenstein made an anime. https://t.co/LLRifMBPNe
