Is anyone else just blown away by the omicron tribe content? It's moved very quickly to the top of my list as one of my favourite tribe questlines. I've joked that it's the "Cafe at the End of the Universe" since the end of #Endwalker, and I'm so happy it's finally real! #FFXIV
I tried to capture that retro sci-fi aesthetic with the distortions and VCR scan lines. But I always agonize if these effects improve it or not. So here's a clean version if anyone would prefer that.

Also, here’s my work on the Sonic 2022 Annual cover. These poses turned out really tough to nail down. I only inked the characters and did the background with no lines. You’ll see I intended at first to have the rocks look just like the in-game art, but it just wasn’t working.

@Anberal_Linone @BasedLIDA From what i saw from his posts the approach is pretty simple: apply solid colors that fits the scene/characters, keeping these colors close to the lineart outlines. You can see this as something close to oldschool comics coloring approach but also reminds Miura's watercolors
