The Lavasioth Subspecies is a female Lavasioth. Like her mate, she's covered in hardened magma, but firestones also adorn her shell. From those minerals being on her body, her shell stays heated, even when weapons that use either the water or ice element are used against her.

Zorah Magdaros primarily lives in the sea since it is so huge, and that environment has the necessary minerals it needs to create its massive shell. Much is unknown about juvenile Zorah Magdaros since the species is rarely ever seen, especially at this stage of their lives.

They are only found on a special beach where the sand is made up of basalt. They only feed on the igneous rocks found on the beach which give their tails a very earthy flavor but full of rich minerals.

I love natural minerals! I created some fictional gemstones as part of a personal digital painting study of how to paint minerals, back in 2018. Very fun to draw, might do more soon!

My headcanon is that Aggron need minerals for their armor and what they consume affects its appearance and properties. As Copper Aggron ages its armor oxidizes, and provided that the air is clean and the minerals pure and plentiful, they eventually turn green.

This Glavenus is also discolored due to minerals adhering to its body, including its eyes, from its constant sharpening. The skin and minerals on its body are carbonized by its internal heat, allowing them to fall off it easily and making them highly explosive.

Glavenus is well known for sharpening its tail with its jaws, ingesting minerals from that part into its body to produce its powerful fiery breath. If a Glavenus is constantly sharpening its tail, it results in the individual taking in more of these rich minerals in its body.

In some secluded parts of volcanic regions, a special type of tar containing unique ore and minerals can be found in the environment. The Uragaan found in those areas are known to sleep in said tar and eat the ore found in those places.
