His original design is very different from how he looks now, too! His hair used to be darker and straight, and when I first drew him apparently I didn't know how necks work (why is it so long???)

Some of the very first 16-bit games I saw were on a friend's shiny new Atari ST. (They were always the first to buy cool new gadgets.) Speedball, Gauntlet II, Leathernecks, Sidewinder, etc. Speedball was the one that's stood the test of time best. And it had an excellent sequel.
