John Metcalf's (1891-1965) stories collected together by Ash-Tree (1998) cover art by Douglas Walters, now unfortunately v. expensive, but there is a kindle ed. of his stories. Derleth was a fan and has anthologised him. 'Mortmain' a great story, very eerie. New ed. required!
