The English author Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley was #BOTD in 1797. Mostly remembered for her masterpiece 'Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus' (1818), she also wrote other great novels such as 'Mathilda' (1819) or 'The Last Man' (1826).
