Spontaneous strokes form shapes that move of their own as I try to capture them on a two-dimentsional surface. I like bringing alive those agile movements through emphatic strokes with charcoal, as they express the emotional turmoil with high intensity.

I literally hand drawn the first one and the latter is an AI collage I added characters and brushstrokes to but the results are opposite 😅

This area... oh god oh god it's SO GOOD
the strokes on the hair make it look so shiny and pretty
like the cupcake is influencing the colors....

thank you for the opportunity ☺️🌸
i have some bad habits of making useless strokes, so the strokes count really helps me to reduce it😌

Canyon Reds
by Erin Hanson,2022

This small canvas captures the grand vista of Canyon de Chelly in AZ with expressive brush strokes. The saturated colors in this petite work create a medley of texture and movement within the piece.

I also did this with it. You can tell by using it it is a cheap graphic tablet and the iPad pro has a SO, SO MUCH BETTER feel to the strokes, but anyway it's big, doesn't need to be charged and is directly connected to my PC so I can't complain

I'm doing a practice this month where I only use 30 brush strokes to finish a painting. Way harder than I thought. This is supposed to be a orange 😂 😭

Thank you :)

I paint dreamlike scenes, fantasy characters, landscapes and pretty glowing things -- as long as I get to have fun with colours and brushstrokes, I'm happy!

I've worked on book covers, TCGs, TTRPGs, video games, etc.
