Reception is mixed. Many are calling y00ts a derivative of BAYC or OkayBears.

I get it, but remember: BAYC essentially monopolized the humanized/monkey aesthetic.

I also think people are discounting the sheer detail here. It's unisex and PFP worthy.

I like it.

So in vol 2, as beautiful as the colours are (I *love* that blue/purple/pink combo!!), it can evoke danger and uncertainty—

Especially with the purple gradient to red at the bottom, calling to mind fire and thus peril.

Plus Xin Mo’s energy is also depicted as purple/black/red.

This is easily one of the best Vol I’ve read. There is not one single boring moment in this Vol. I’m upset about the ending but it was the right decision😭 Kiyo, Horikita and Kei really shine in this one. Calling Kiyo a monster is an understatement🤣
