@InkfishDraws hmmmmmm, action lines maybe? like determining the main direction the oc goes and then expanding on that to get a stickman drawing
it helps to read poses sometimes
more advice would be dont worry about blocking parts of the face, torsos are underrated in poses and just practice!
Hair exploration I did last year with Octane render in c4d+Houdini.
Houdini didn't play any part in shading/lighting but was crucial for animation behaviour.
