Btw this is what I’m talking about. Like I said, it looks -cool-, but I don’t feel comfortable using these whatsoever, anymore. Some parts might be ok, but the feather headpiece is…yeah 😬 I can find something else for them to wear
@VelcroCow2 I currently subscribe to the wing feathers evolving for assisted running/display first and having a wing like shape but not as asymmetrical and flight adapted as modern birds. There is some evidence for this in the structure of certain theropod wings.
@VelcroCow2 We have certain lineages of dinosaur that have fossil evidence of very clear primary feather groups in many members and groups that have feathers but no primaries. The origin of wings and organized groups is unclear, but was certainly variable
They characterise with bright tones and are connected to birds (hence the feathers used in accessories). I'm really happy to develop more of this new universe and share it with you here ✨️ Let me know your thoughts!

On the tips of its wings are feathered scales that it can open and close, much like its crest. When folded or layered together, these feathered scales can act as a shield that'll protect Aknosom from incoming attacks. When unfolded or swung, they become sharp blades.
A member of our student team - Harris Siderfin - has designed a logo for our Visualising Peace project. Grassroots, violent roots, flower power, a white feather, blood-red stems, withering leaves, a bee drinking nectar: all elements have symbolic meaning inspired by our research.
