They make white flower trails when they touch anything earthy and even make small creatures out of it (animals, Humans, etc)

Maybe Subaru was hated back than but I think we can all agree that season 2 part 2 has changed most of the anime onlies opinion on him from negative to positive. After all I doubt he would have won favorite male character if he was still hated by most.
