This is a small reconstruction of Tianyulong confuciusi, an heterodontosaurid from Late Jurassic China, for my in-prep book. Some basal ornithischian dinosaurs are known to have been fuzzy... some could have been VERY fuzzy!

To help us forget about politics, here's some Rhamphorhynchus muensteri The 3 big animals are based on the largest known (1.8 m wingspan) muensteri specimen, which was once thought to be a unique species. Turns out it's just a really large adult.

Here’s hoping I’ll make more paleoart in 2020! 🥂✨

Damn, I almost forgot my third paleoart: Sinosauropteryx! This is the first paleoart I’ve done without scanning in an ink drawing and making a digital background. The digital line work was a great deal of fun, and I kinda think that it’s better than the final colored product

I just realized that I only made 2 pieces of paleoart this year!! That’s suuuucks, dawg! To get me back in the mood to draw dinosaurs and show all my new followers what this means for the future, I’ll make a lil thread about these two pieces

Last year I started focusing on as an exercise to help me produce more, and work on some areas I consider myself to be weak in, this year I really feel like I have found my niche and even grew a bit.

Blue eyed beast. Don’t let the friendly expression fool you, Majungasaurus would most definitely eat you if given a chance. Just a quick late night thing based on an earlier drawing.

The Bromacker is home of the oldest known bipedal animal, Eudibamus, unfortunately few have given him attention yet. Lets change that!

For here's a private commission of Tiktaalik I completed earlier this year. It took some time to get the body shape right as there's lots of subtle nuances to tetrapodomorph anatomy. They weren't just gars with funky heads and limbs.

Day 5 Camarasaurus, best as I can manage atm, based off a picture I saw at some point in my life but I've no idea where or who did it. ><'

Since I can’t post the massive, 12 foot long version here (yet), a smaller copy of my mastodon digital composite should be suitable!

final update for now. Might do more sometime next year. But I want to draw something less extinct next time.

Leaving this one as a messy sketch, couldn't get it quite right.

Skull of for series. I'd never heard of this guy prior to sculpting him. Just one of the many things I've learned from working on this project.

Going to my roots with monochrome after getting fed up with how color translates with more bernissartensis studies. I also like this brush from PS CS6’s standard set.
