Loving the more realistic render of my Azuki in this submission! I can tell a lot of thought & effort went into the facial expression of the character, and I appreciate the artist’s stylistic interpretation of the original Azuki piece.

The aquatic tones and bubbly interpretation of the original fireflies very well complimented the blue hues of the original Azuki in my opinion! I thought ethereal nature of the blade itself was quite a nice touch, as well as the translucent hair—well done.

“She may be ethereal in nature, but don’t underestimate her unbridled power” is the interpretation I got from this impressionable piece. Excellent portrayal of the Azuki, and I really loved the lightning that crackled from the blade!

Great submission! Aside from the wonderful rendering of her kimono, I did find the depiction of her flowing hair extending beyond the expected range to be a cool interpretation of the metaphorical reach of a Spirit Azuki ^o^

What a cute rendition of my Azuki! She appears so soft and gentle in nature, and this POV was well depicted with her kind demeanor, glowing presence and delicate stature; loved this interpretation! ^o^

“Ready to get down to business” was the interpretation I had of this wonderful submission! Loving not only the attention to detail regarding the character (head & face), but also to perspective—the sizing of the sword and overall orientation of the piece.

MEIKO was the first Japanese Vocaloid and Cryptonloid. Popular fanon interpretations characterize her as a big sister or motherly figure for the Crypton family.
This one is actually a failed attempt at interpreting Paul Gauguin's self-portrait paintings but somehow I landed on Tahiti and now all I can see is Dutch van der Linde with a plan (Those who know, know🙂!)
