The base concept of TangleDeep is fun, which is basically pokemon mystery dungeon, class based, roguelike, but then there are some weird design decisions like mages can only regen mana by smacking enemies to death with their spellbook.

no straight roads is an odd game, its like a 3D action game/beat ‘em up/ boss rush where all the enemies attack to the beat

There was an unused cutscene in the early script where Sonic & the Avatar would encounter new, bigger enemies in Arsenal Pyramid. Sonic would tell them "Don't be scared, this is your moment to shine!", encouraging the Avatar and inspiring them to fight. (1/2)

Sometimes I remember that I still have ~60k words to edit of the Enemies to Lovers thread to get on AO3 and that I haven’t updated that fic since December of last year even though it’s done and I am just.
My favorite type of Mario creature design has always been “cute reptile” type and Super Mario World really helped pioneer that. I wish some of the more unique enemies from this game appeared more often in the rest of the series. Especially Rex. Rex is great.
